Quantum Sensing with Interacting Atoms

Prof. Morgan Mitchell from ICFO and Victor Brasch from CSEM took part in CLEO in San Jose on 6 May 2019. CLEO is a major annual meeting for lasers, photonics, and related technologies.

Prof. Morgan Mitchell delivered the invited talk “Quantum Sensing with Interacting Atoms”. His talk described new results in enhancing the sensitivity of devices operating with high atomic densities and thus in interaction-dominated regimes. The slides from the talk ” Quantum Sensing with Interacting Atoms” can be downloaded here.

Dr Victor Brach (CSEM) presented the paper “Alkali metal condensation zones in MEMS alkali vapor cells and characterization in CPT clock” on behalf of Sylvain Karlen, also from CSEM. The abstract can be downloaded here.
