On October 2, macQsimal member Christoph Affolderbach from the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland guided a tour on hydrogen masers at the Musée International de l’Horlogerie in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The museum organises a lunch tour every first Wednesday of the month on the topic of time precision. Dr. Affolderbach presented the macQsimal project and miniature atomic clocks as the tiny extreme at the other side of the size range for cell-based clocks to the museum general audience.
