Sensing with Squeezed and Entangled States of Light and Atoms

17th April 2019, Orlando (USA)

Prof. Morgan Mitchell (ICFO) delivered the plenary talk “Sensing with Squeezed and Entangled States of Light and Atoms” at IFCS-EFTF, the joint conference of the IEEE International Frequency Control Symposium & European Frequency and Time Forum. This is the most important meeting of the year for many experts in atomic clock technology, atomic sensors, time distribution, and related topics in time-frequency metrology.  Prof. Mitchell’s talk described the history and recent progress of entangled state generation for optical and atomic sensing.
