macQsimal was represented at the Helmholtz Institute’s workshop on optically-pumped magnetometers (WOPM).

Yongqi Shi presented his work on GHz microwave field imaging with atomic vapor cells. Rasmus Zetter and Joonas Iivanainen had a presentation on “bfieldtools — a software package for magnetic field modeling”.

The workshop focused on optically-pumped magnetometer technology. as well as its applications including on exotic physics and biomedical measurements. WOPM is an important event as it gathers all the researchers in the field. It took place at the Helmholtz Institute in Mainz (Germany) from August 14-16.
